Would love views of this school from current parents or anyone who attended the open evening last night.

Anyone? I went with high hopes but it felt corporate. I'd love to share views.

All Harris schools are run in a very corporate business-y way. What made it feel that way to you?

Tigerstripes I've been thinking about your question and it was mainly the head saying the name of the school many, many times in her speech. It is fair enough I suppose, it is the name of the school but it felt odd and almost like a branding thing.

Would still like to share opinions. I spoke to two very enthusiastic teachers who both seemed very young to be heads of their departments. Should that be a concern do you think?

I went to the open evening and was impressed. Some of the science and art blocks were very dated. Was impressed with head and the teachers I met. Yes some of the heads of department were young but I thought they were keen and enthusiastic. Better that than some older long in the tooth time server. Suspects they seem young because we're getting older.

Thought the heads focus on happiness being an key ingredient to academic success was important. Only head i've heard mention children's happiness. Only the patronising tone of the governors
speech annoyed me.
