inappropriate content on smartphones

How do you stop kids bringing inappropriate material on their smart phones to school. We are very aware there is lots of stuff on the net that is completly inappropriate for young boys but it is being watched on smart phones pre school and at lunch, some of thjis is quite hard core. We didnt give our son this kind of phone but it is being passed around

Tell the school and ask them what they intend to do about it and perhaps a bit of education about unsavoury things on the internet and e-safety would not go amiss.

At DD's school kids are allowed to have phones in bags but if they are spotted being used they are instantly confiscated and parents informed.
