Does anyone know what Se is

Hi all, I got my DS's year 7 timetable today and all the lessons are written in abbreviations, for example:

Ma - Maths
Ar - Art
En - English
Mu - Music
Sc - Science

etc. One lesson says Se and I have no idea what that means. My DS does not know either.

Any ideas?

What else is he doing? We might be able to work it out, if you give us a list of everything he is doing, then we can guess what's missing! Grin

Also think sex ed

Thanks, I didn't realise they even had Sex ed in year 7. Other lessons are English, Maths, Science, PE, Languages, RE, Geography, History, Drama, Art, Music, DT and ICT.

Thank you all. Thanks

I doubt it's sex ed as you wouldn't have that much of it to be in a timetable.

More likely to be society and environment which I thnk is similar to citizenship.

minesawine · 07/09/2012 18:11

Oh. Now I am confused again Confused thanks anyway

Social Education I would guess in my DDs school they call it Citizenship

MaureenMLove · 07/09/2012 18:13

I thought PHSE. Perhaps they call it Social Education.

They do get a very small amount of school nurse lead sex ed at our school, but it's only one lesson and it's during a Science lesson. It's quite early on in Yr7.

Maybe their own abbreviation for a lesson of off-timetable study or something. Or a language? Senegalese? Grin

LeeCoakley · 07/09/2012 18:17

Sports ed instead of Physical ed?
