Just wrote a long post about the results my applied science class got today which are lower than I predicted- anyone else out there in a similar position? Trying to get a feel for what I should do next - ie take it on the chin or kick off to AQA.
Its a long saga and having written it out again, cant write it all again as need to go parent- but between the applied teacher who taught them and then left at the end of year 10 and me who took them in year 11 (having not done it before) the grades are all down. The brightest child would have got A* B A on units 1,3,4 if our scores had been taken , she got B C C. I feel confident based on my experience marking coursework since we were all on the POAE system, that she and the work she produced are not a grade C, this makes me feel very unsure about the rest.
