A level point score on School league tables

On the DofE School League Tables, they have a bit for average A level entry score. Can any one tell me what each grade is worth? I was looking up several 6th forms locally and they ranged from 224 to 200. Thanks.

The figure on the tables will be the average point score per student in that institution at the end of yr 13.

Thanks, but how can you have an average per entry score that is more than an A* grade? Sorry if I'm being dense.

That would be the combination of all their A Levels. So BBC would be 280 points, CCC would be 260.

Thanks

Justgettingbymum - I found a document on their site from what I can gather the points used are:

A* = 300
A = 270
B= 240
C= 210
D= 180
E = 150

media.education.gov.uk/assets/files/pdf/performance%20points.pdf

It's table 2c on the link

UCAS points and points for APS are not the same.

Thought I had replied but it's not showing!

Thanks for your response, I have asked for my previous post with the ucas points to be removed to avoid confusion
