Coombe Boys or Rutlish?

Can you share your experiences? How do you rate these schools for bright but a bit lazy boy, good at Maths and science but poor at English. Do you know how they stream? By English or maths?

At CBS they are taught for most subjects according to their teaching group, which is determined by tests early in year 7 as well as yr 6 teacher assesments.
Ds is in yr 9 and sounds a bit like your son, but he is thriving and doing well in all subjects.
