schools around cobham

Hi,

I know this topic has come up before, but I wondered what people currently think of the prep schools around cobham. We are moving there in September and I need to find somewhere for for DS (aged 6) and DD (aged 4). I've visited felton fleet, but the headmaster and his wife were a bit creepy and I'm worried about its reputation for bullying

Any thoughts or recommendations?

I have known some very happy parents at Felton Fleet. My dd joined Notre Dame in Y9 and they have a nice prep department. It's not a high pressure school but she's very happy.

Surbiton do boys and girls from 4 I think. Not too plugged into the Surrey preps because we are SW London.

Milbourne Lodge?

Friends were very happy with Parkside. Not got the bullying reputation of Dane's Hill or Feltonfleet and the school really brought their son on.

There are some really good state schools in and near Cobham which might be worth considering. Eastwick infants (and juniors) is not far, with most children progressing from one to the other so would give continuity for your DS. St Matthews and Fetcham Infants also very well regarded - at St Matthews you get to use Felton Fleet pool too.
