Hi I am a mum of two tots and recently took a new appointment teaching for an internet school. I love it! So I thought I could expand my horizons and start tutoring and doing summer time catch up. A great idea in theory; at least I thought so. However despite making a website and sharing it with friends on facebook I don't know how best to advertise?
I am already paying out for the online classroom but I have no tutees yet.
I can't share the details on here because of advertising rules, however I would be interested in your opinions about where I should concentrate my advertising for this group dynamic.
Libraries? Social clubs? On the internet? If so where? I'm on a tight budget so don't want to spend out where it's not going to be noticed or make an impact.
I love to teach and I believe this will work perfectly around my kids and other work commitments. I am so in need of a little advice to make this small dream a reality.

Please help with advice if you can.

Many thanks

Hi Rox, what levels are you teaching up to please?
I have some ideas, but the above's relevant, also do you run to further maths?

Is this your website?

The reason that you have no tutees is that the search engines are not picking up your website. You need to add key words meta tags to your website, other wise google will not know you exist.

There needs to be a description and keyword meta tags in the HTML of your webpages.

To see what I mean view the source code of the mumsnet home page. You will see the following meta tags.

The good news is that adding meta tags is completely free.
