Winchester entrance results

My sister-in-law is becoming increasingly anxious as she hasn't heard from Winchester if her son has passed the entrance examination. Apparently she should have heard already by the end of this week. I told her that the school would already have contacted her if there's a problem. Is that right?

Is it the pre-test or the 13+ entry test to start this September?

We heard last year on Friday the 20th of May they ring your prep school you don't receive a letter/phone call in the first instance. If your SIL DS prep hasn't heard then ask the head if he knows when the results are out or ring the school the lady in the admissions office is very helpful.

According to the "Short Roll" (school diary thing) on Friday the 18th at 16 30 there was a "2012 entrance meeting" this sounds like a discussing the exams meeting maybe you'll she'll know early next week. Hope this helps.
