Does anyone have any DC's at these schools please and any comments.

We've heard good things about Ravenswood, but also issues around bullying???

Thanks

I have heard that R'bourne has greatly improved but do not have personal experience of it.
R'wood, I do and have been pleased with it. Have not had bullying problems although obviously bullying happens in all schools. There are some not so nice children at the school and I find like calls to like and in year 7 and 8 you get some showing off from certain boys trying to be top dog.
Most of the teachers at the school are great, I would single out maths, English and history depts as having some great staff.

I feel the school is very good at dealing with boys and understanding them.
I have had children at three different secondary schools and like the emphasis on manners and respect at R'wood.

Hope that helps you a bit Smile

My son has been at Ravens Wood for two years and is very happy there. I have heard talk about bullying but my son hasn't come across any although I was concerned as he is quite a studious type. I agree with the previous commentator who says it is really geared up for the boys and the Music Department is excellent. He is doing very well there and the majority of teachers are very good. I have friends whose kids are at Ravensbourne and they are happy there too.
