Revision websites HELP

DD is 10 she is doing KS3 work at school, we have just had the end of year revision sheets home from school, its soooo much work I feel ill just looking at it. Does anyone have any good links for Geography and History? In particular I would be interested in sites that have tests so I can see how much the children know already.
Also DD2 age 8 needs to know all the major rivers, mountains, river landscapes, the water cycle and be able to write an essay on a third world country. Thank you

DS has always used BBC Bitesize and is now using S-cool but I'm not sure if the latter is only GCSE or not.
I used to buy revision guides/workbooks from WH Smith or Amazon for revison when I thought DS had big gaps in his written work. The revision guides are usually available in a number of subjects from KS3 but generally only Maths, English and Science for KS2.
