question for teachers who follow AQA - help!

OK, I should know this Blush . I've blocked off this morning to mark coursework for my students as it's the only time DH can take DD off my hands before the deadline. The candidate record forms for making coursework have changed since I've recently returned from mat leave, and it being a week end I can't ring AQA to ask them this and tried googling to no avail so am in a pickle.

The box for 'concluding comments' on the mark form - what sort of thing do I put and do I have to fill it in or can I leave it blank? There's not a big gap so I can't think I can write much or am I expected to go on to another page?

I realise chances of someone helping me with this may be slim, but am living in hope of getting this done and dusted today.

Sorry no can do. I haven't even got a number for a Food Tech teacher on me.

It could be for annotations to justify any borderline judgements in case of them being selected for moderation.

reastie · 21/04/2012 12:09

Could be, but I have a small class so they will all be moderated in any case and they seem to mark now using number marks as opposed to old style grading system, so it's not that obvious which grade they have been given in any case... Thanks for your help anyway though. I've just messaged 'ask AQA' in the hope they might answer me today

Could you ask on tes.co.uk in the right subject forum - possiby more chance of finding a food tech GCSE AQA teacher.

MNHubbie · 21/04/2012 12:13

Good call Kez. If they all would be moderated I would suggest annotating to death

reastie · 21/04/2012 15:35

Yes, will do kez , never been in my subject forum though so not sure how active it will be Hmm

TES has shocked me with its activity in some odd places before so it is worth a look.
