Chesham Grammar School

What's the school like, in particular the sixth form? Any Chesham Grammar mums here? If so, what would you say are the pros and cons of the school?

Dd's at DCHS but know lots of people with kids very very happy there.

Very good results, only downside can be travel distance compared to the other local grammars - has a much wider allocation geographically so friends can be further away.

Nephew is there. Happy all round - but my word there's a lot of homework! Not sixth form yet though.

Child in 6th form. Communication is not good. Like a lot of schools the teachers are a mixture of good and bad (from a student point of view) and in 6th form there seems to be 2 teachers per subject. I am not sure if this is a good idea or not really. I think that for the last couple of years the 6th form has had very few places available for people coming from outside of the school. The school is quite lax when it comes to uniform, skirt lengths in particular are pretty dreadful! However a nice bunch of friends have been formed.
