Harrow School - What is the new head like?

Does anyone have any insights into whether there are changes at Harrow School since the departure of the outgoing head?

Barnaby Lenon was such a colourful character, he must be a hard act to follow. What is the new head like?

And in general, what is it like to have a DS at the school? I am considering sending DS there but would appreciate any insights that can be shared or from hearing from anyone who is in a similar situation.

Let's hope he doesn't turn it co-ed like he did with Norwich!

He had a good reputation at Radley early in his career.

Met him (wife and daughter) very recently when he visited our Dc prep school. Very nice, he did a very interesting talk also in Chapel. Don't think he would change Harrow to co-ed, the parents are surveyed every couple of years to see if the parent body would like it, resounding NO is the answer, I was told.

Whilst I don't have any direct experience of him this topic came up in a conversation with my dear friend who has one son there currently (knew previous head and has had lots of contact with current head) and one son due to go there next year. She told me that in her view the new head is fabulous - the pupils love him, the masters love him and the boys love him. Whilst Barnaby Lennon was extremely well liked the new head is too.
And as for going co-ed - not a chance in her view as well as mine as I asked that questions when I visited the school a couple of months ago!
