Most children are expected to achieve levels 5/6 at the end of KS3 so I'd guess this is a pretty normal set of expected levels.

ITA with grimma that's a nice average set of results and the current grades are on target to achieve the end of KS grade which is as it should be - splendid!

(BTW her current 5B in spanish is a great level given that she's only been studying it since year 7 I assume? Language grades at this stage are often down compared to the other grades for a child)

Thanks theas18 its nice to know she is on track, and the spanish suprised me be honest as she was struggling with it last year but i suppose it has clicked now :)
Hopefully she can keep her head in her studies and acheive higher than expected fingers crossed, but im happy as long as she is doing her best and is happy

Just wondering if the End of KS3 targets are for the end of Y8 (as DD's school are starting KS4 in Y9), or the more traditional end of Y9 - starting KS4 in Y10?

Hi no it says end of year 9 on the letter i got so i guess they are doing with the traditional route
