Could you suggest me how to write a notice of leaving to a private school (as sample)? Thank you!

Dear

I am writing to let you that I am giving notice of resignation from my post as ...... with my last day being .........

I have enjoyed my time here at ......... very much but am looking for advancement/a locality nearer home/a smaller school.

I should be pleased if you would supply a good reference if required.

did you mean leaving as a teacher, or moving your DC?

Dear headteacher

Please accept this letter as a terms notice that DC will be leaving the school at the end of the academic term.

I would be grateful if you could please confirm recepit of this letter and confirm the fees in lieu of notice will not be charged.
