Allocations Posted 1st March

Is it posible to ask the primary school, or admissions dept directly, tomorrow for the result rather than waiting for the 2nd or 3rd march?

I guess it probably varies by area, but our local authority specifically says that it won't give out that information over the phone. I don't know whether the schools are given the information straightaway.

I'm going to try my LA first thing tomorrow!
