1st March if you are in England and applying for state schools.

Does anyone know what time or does it vary depending on LA. I have heard that you can find out online at midnight (1 March). When do the letters go out as well - on the 1st or the 29th Feb?

The regulations set a date, not a time. The time depends on the LA, as does the posting date for letters.
