I break out in a cold sweat every time I think about secondary school for my Y5 boy. He is at an RC primary in Richmond now.
We are currently in Richmond, but will be in Wandsworth at the time of application. We would prefer a Catholic school, but think we are not devout enough to be considered.
As we have so recently returned from Norway, I dont know about all the schools and options available to him/us, and I dont know which schools are good or not.
At the moment we are considering both fee and non fee paying options, but would prefer not to pay.
He has some gaps in his literacy and numeracy owing to having been abroad in a different school system, but we are trying as hard as we can to rectify this, without pushing too hard. It is difficult. Any advice?
