Does any one have any idea of how many boys CLSB call back for interview and how many actually get places? My DS has been called for interview for 2014 entry but wonder if he is one of hundreds for just a few places? I have googled but to no avail. Thanks.

I was just searching through threads to try to find out the same thing! My DS also called for interview for 2014 13+ entry. I think there are about 45 places on offer, though presumably they make more offers than that. About 240 sat the test. I'm guessing they see about 120 in the interview stage and make 60 ish offers? Of course there will be a lot of movement on the waitlist later on so in my book even making the waitlist is a good result. Good luck to your DS!

This is now a year on, my son just sat the pre test and is on the reserve list, his school seem confident he will get a conditional place eventually, did either of you end up going through this last year?

My DS did get a conditional offer last year (for 2014) though we are not yet sure we will take it up (he is WL at another school that he would probably prefer). FWIW my impression is that it is a very short reserve list and there is a very good chance that places will come up for boys on WL. Good luck!!
