help have 2 decide 2 day on boarding offer from hockrill but ds wants 2?board @ gordans but they only offer in march. If we dont accept hockerill offer + he does not get acceped @ gordans wehave no other choice as we live abroad

Is it true that if i tell gordans they will tell me to take other offer + cross him off their list - we r not armed forces who get priority.....help as cant afford 2 pay deposit + terms fee + then lose it

Only just seen your messasge, so you've probably already made your decision.

However, we also have accepted an offer from Hockerill for our DD for Yr 7 and paid the deposit. We have not yet been asked to pay a term's fees, so don't know why they would have asked you for that yet.

I would have paid the deposit for Hockerill to secure it, and waited until March to see if Gordon's made an offer, and then decide. I've heard Gordon's isn't easy to get into. A friend of ours here applied for a boarding place for her daughter for Yr 7 and didn't get it, despite being overseas. She managed to get her in for Yr 8 eventuallly. Difficult, I know!
