Alleyns Interviews 2012

Hi, has anyone heard yet re interviews regarding Alleyns 11+/year 7?

Yes thank goodness. We heard on Tuesday evening. Hated the waiting though, couldn't put my phone down for 2 days...
2 years ago though we heard really late for my DS1 but he did get an interview in the end. DD is having her interview on Sat. Not heard anything from Latymer though so am waiting for the letter.

A couple of years ago now, but the ones from DDs school who got Saturday interviews seemed to be the ones being considered for scholarships or bursaries. Did not seem to matter much. DD still got turned down , and later interviewees received offers.

There is a letter waiting for me at home so we are a 'No'-wishing you all the best

My DS has an interview but actually don't feel know that much about Alleyns (it was last-minute wildcard in our otherwise all-state school list). Be glad of any thoughts on what it's like. It had a sort of rural and all-white feel when took DS to the exam...

Not very rural, between Peckham and Catford! Very white, though, despite lots of children of various ethnic heritages sitting the entrance exam.

In Dulwich actually, so not really between Peckham and Catford.
