Hi

I realise this the secondary ed section but I couldnt see anything about scholarships for primary in the primary section.

I have two kids who have applied for scholarships in year 3 and year 5. Both were asked back for interview after the exam.

What will be the schools policy on offering a scholarship. A part of me thinks that if one gets an offer then the other wont and as a clever marketing trick offer one and bring the other on full fees , or they they offer them on a merit basis and ignore the fact that both the kids are from the same family.

any info would be gratefully received.

If they are both worthy then they will get a scholarship but it may be reduced to work out as a percentage of one scholarship. So they may get 10% each instead of 20%. They may also offer the scholarship to the eldest child as they have less time at the school.

thanks for your response. I realise that all schools are different, but do sibling discounts generally apply for scholarship kids as well ?

cheers
