SPGS 11+ entrance

My dear DD took the exam last week. Found the science comprehension section painful - any similar experiences?
Do interview invites get sent out in order of performance or to everyone at the same time above a certain cut-off point.

My daughter did the exam last year, so things have probably changed a bit, but the interview invitations were all sent out at the same time. And she found the science much harder than the rest, too.

Gosh very shocked that in some parts of the country DCs have a multi-parted 11+ - is this state or a private school? Bad enough the whole family getting psyched up for one day exam let alone jumping through several hoops.
But does it mean if DCs then get through the interview stage then they have definitely got a place? Will you find out before 1st March or have to wait till then.... at least it won't be too long a wait...

DS did one 11+ exam in mid September, knew by end of September that he has passed but still has to wait till 1st March to see whether he will have got a place ;-(
