English grammar at secondary school level?

can anyone give me a clue what English grammar is taught at seconadary level?

I can recall learning loads of grammar at primary but by the time we got to secondary, all I remember is getting straight into Macbeth and Of Mice and Men and doing lit crit, not any tyoe of formal grammar.

Am I having a total memory blackout?

What's taught, grammar-wise, at secondary?

From memory, none. It was the 90s though.

Zero in the 80s.

We did some mad combo of "Literature and Drama" which involved an hour a week of reading very modern crap poetry and short stories, and an hour of pretending to be leaves unfurling.

My knowledge of grammar came from studying other languages at university.

I think it's back on the curriculum now though, I download stacks of grammar stuff from the TES website and teachit.co.uk sites.

Ok, so I am not going mad

Thx

What do they do these days, then?
