St Robert's of Newminster, Tyne and Wear

Can anyone share their experiences of this school. I'm thinking of sending my daughter but would welcome any views.

My son started there in September and loves it. He came from St John Boste Primary school, and was a bit worried about going to St Robs after being in a small Primary but he has settled in really quickly. Is your daughter in one of the feeder schools?

She is. Good to know as she is also coming from a small primary. Thank you.

Sorry I can't tell you much more as he has only been there 7 weeks! But it really has been a transformation - he is really confident, organised with his homework and talks about his lessons from me getting in from work to him going to bed! It was like getting blood out of a stone getting him to talk about his lessons at Primary school! His friends that he went up with have settled really quickly too and seem happy.
