Recently trooped through the open nights of various secondary schools as oldest child is on his way to adulthood in September. (In our area we are fortunate enough to be able to choose which school our child attends) All of them have different handles and specialisms. One of them brands itself as an advocate and practitioner of 'adventure schooling.' Anyone got any experience of this? I seem to remember the daily school bus ride being enough of an adventure without getting embroiled in canoes and the like... Be interested to hear views on what they are, how they work, benefits?
