Good schools in Norwich area?

Work might necessitate a move to Norwich from Chelmsford sometime soon.

We are really torn as DS1 is a Yr8 at King Edward VI Grammar School and we feel terrible sacrificing that opportunity if there isn't a good state alternative up there. If we stayed in Chelmsford then DS2 would also go the KEGS route and if all reports are right likely succeed with the 11+.

Does anyone know where the best/better state secondaries are in the Norwich area - we can't possibly afford private for three DC. I'm trying to look where we might live (ideally village outside of city) but have no clue about catchments for the better schools.

This might be a deal breaker for the job and my DH's sanity, so any help gratefully received!

I have DNs at Aylsham High - very well thought of. A bit out of Norwich, but a nice place to live. Have no idea how it compares to a Grammar.
