Hiya, I have a son in yr 6 with a statement who i would like to go to a particular school but it isnt in our catchment area (i dont think, cant find a map) I just wondered if children with statements get priority as i was told they did back in april but now nobody seems to know. I know it isnt the closest but it is definetly the better school for him. Just worried he wont get in now. Does anyone know how things work with statements etc, it isnt as severe as some, it is just for speech and language, thanks for any help. I would actually be prepared to move before i send him to another school.
