School Breaking Admissions Code

Last year when we applied for secondary school I discovered that a local comprehensive was breaking the admissions code by asking parents to fill in a supplementary form where one of the questions was "where they had placed this school on the LEA application form 1, 2 or 3".
I reported this to the LEA as this practice is against admissions guidelines. They said they would look into it. Have just looked on the schools website and they are still asking the same question. Any advice on how to take this matter further ?

Speak to the Head and tell him it is against admissions guidelines?
Does it affect a school place though? The LEA allocate places in my area

crazymum53 - Take the matter up with the Schools Adjudicator. They are responsible for ensuring that schools comply with the Admissions Code.

coccyx - As the school has a supplementary form it is presumably acting as its own admission authority. Parents will still apply to the LA but the school places the children in priority order, which determines who gets admitted.
