Can you pull us out of the mire again mumnsetters?? In RE they are doing the 'holy trinity' (father, son & holy ghost - sorry if thats obvious to everyone!)
The children need to make a model of something else where three things combine to make one and we're truly stuck!! THe only thing I can think of is a plait and so make a 'model' of a plaited loaf of bread but thats not really three different things! We are not a particulary arty lot so my joke suggestion of a model of the 'sugarbabes' wasnt particularly helpful! Thanks all

A bit of an update (for anyone who is midly interested!) I bought 2 packs of ready rolled marzipan, she came home from school and i explained the plan, she looked disticntly underwhelmed and I was gutted! She then explained that it couldnt be a real cake as they models had to go on display, so we ploughed on and cut up some washing up sponges to make the squares, stuck them together and wrapped yellow cardboard around and ...it looked flipping brilliant! Well chuffed! SHe took it into school this week and teacher was also impressed! So thanks again to thetasigmamum!

I think you should make the battenburg anyway, I'm sure eating it will enable her to really embed the knowledge.
