Policy on earrings at Farnborough Hill

Hi, does anyone know the policy on wearing earrings at Farnborough Hill? My daughter is desperate to get her ears pierced and we were going to get them done this summer but don't want to do something that might be a problem for her later. Thanks!

judging by the length of their skirts i'd say ear piercing was fine, but i couldn't comment from any knowledgeable perspective... Wink it's usually small studs only though.

Not at Farnborough Hill, but my DD is only allowed to get her ears pierced right at the beginning of Summer hols, so they don't cause a problem with PE during term time.

Have you asked the school?

School is now closed for the Summer so we've missed asking them which is obviously an oversight on my part. Think if we get them done now she's got a year before she'd start (assuming she gets in) so she would be able to take them out for necessary classes. Thanks for your replies.

My daughter was at Farnborough Hill(left last year) and had her ears pierced at 13. No problems so long as she only wore small studs. Not sure if she had to take them out for PE, she had them done in January so couldn't have taken them out for a few weeks at least.

Thanks dizzyblonde - we've gone for it so it'll be a year before she's there and if she needs to take them out for any reason she can do!
