Do waiting lists get looked at over summer holidays?

I've called the school regarding the waiting list TL see where my daughter is on it, but they said they are still waiting in numbers back from parents accepting places etc
Will they look at it over summer hols?

Hi- in our authority everyone on the waiting list has a letter now asking to confirm they're still interested, and to confirm by 15th august, when presumably everyone else gets added in...

IME LAs do not close down over the summer hols.

It's the school who deal with the list now as it's an academy?

If its an academy it depends on who they have given responsibility for waiting lists to. Schools do have people in all summer, but there is probably little waiting list movement over the summer.

Academies in my LA have chosen to use the LA to administer admissions, just setting their own admissions criteria.
