if a child was to get a level 6 in yr 8 what is expected in yr 9?

They are supposed to go up 2 sub levels per year, so if a 6d, then a 6a, but if a 6a, then a 7b.

Why did I post 6d? I meant 6c.

I think if you aren't given a sub level then it should be presumed it's a 6c, and not to be too disappointed if they are at a 6a next year, as that is how much they should have progressed.
