My Year 11 DD is refusing to complete her ASDAN work - does anyone know whether ASDAN is actually important? She's forecast to get As and Bs in her GCSE - but would the ASDAN qualification be taken into account too on her university applications in a few years time?

No, there's no worries there. Uni will look at core subjects and whether she has enough UCAS points from her A Levels. DS1 did ASDAN which was changed to Citizenship and he got an E. He starts Uni in September.

Great, thanks for the info. I can lay off a bit then! Will let the school worry about that one. :)
