anyones child starting here in september . what are other parent views on this school . any info would be greatly received . hoping made right decision on secondary school place.

Not a parent but did go for an teaching interview there. Really impressed with the academic side-staff seemed excellent and their results are exceptional. However, I asked two pupils seperately what they thought of the school and both replies were on the lines of "they dont care about us just the grades we get". Possible I caught them both on a bad day but it did make me realise that the pastoral side wasn't really talked about by the school. not saying dont go there just maybe check out how much support the pupils get.

thanks for that my child has additional needs so that will be an important factor as well as discipline as hes been bullied in past . we liked it when looking round on open evening know they tend to show best side then , but kids seemed really friendly and reasonably happy.
