Text books that cover early secondary curriculum

I was hoping someone would be able to recommend a particular brand of text book that covers pre-gcse curriculum. My son is currently in year 8 and falling behind at school, so I want to take matters into my own hands as I'm struggling to afford private tuition. Any advice would be greatly appriciated, thanks.

You could get key stage 3 revision/study guides.

These are the standard ones.

Any specific subject areas, or just everything?

Remember BBC bitesize as well, there are some useful online resources if you google KS3 and explore.

Just ordered a stack of books off that website, it's free postage so that's great. Also you can have a look at pages inside the books so pretty sure I've got the right ones. Thanks again for the help.
