Kingsdale School waiting list

Does anyone have previous experience on going on the Kingsdale waiting list and how it works as their initial admissions are based on a lottery system. Also was anyone offered a place from their waiting list last year?

Do Kingsdale have one then?

I've already met with the SENCO, DS's Ed Psych will also be speaking to them to confirm the different provisions within the 2 schools.

Does your DS have a statement? Surely you should have been offered your first choice then?

Has anyone been given a date for appeal? We have been told we will be contacted in "due course"!

I know that they will be between the 20/6-22/7 but haven't received the confirmed date and time yet. I am concerned as the Appeal Code states that all appeals must be heard by the 6/7, so I'm not sure why Kingsdale's appeals are going past this date.

Thanks very much for the information, I agree with you that the later date seems very unusual.

We had our appeal late June and haven't heard a thing since!
