Ernest Bevin School

Hello, I'm new here so please be gentle!

Does anyone out there have a DS at Ernest Bevin, and if so how are they doing and what's the school like?

DS has been offered a place there - not our first choice, but we're thankful to have gotten anything due to our location! It seemed like a good school during the open evening, but then so do most. Would really appreciate any feedback.

it's rapidly improving - in our primary playground a few years ago parents would be in tears if their boys were offered EB, however now although it's not most people's first choice locally, it's not viewed in such a dismal way

the results are pretty good and behaviour's improved (used to be a bit of a gang problem in the playground) - the joint heads are pretty impressive and the sports facilities are amazing

ex GMTV presenter Fiona Phillips' son goes there too!
