Tuition Fees

Hello
Last year my hus. paid for his D (my DSD) to have extra tuition at school (money was paid directly to XP who paid the teacher).
We never spoke to the teacher or had any involvement with them (we were advised at the time, they didn?t have time to talk to us).
We have since found out the school were running extra tuition sessions, but it would appear they were non-paid for sessions.
Can anyone advise how we approach the school to find out if any teachers were running paid for tuition sessions, do we simply ask straight out and how do we advise school not to speak to XP or talk to them.
My hus no longer pays for these sessions, but he does want to find out the truth and have piece of mind, as it would appear (until otherwise confirmed) that my hus, XP, her new hus and D have been lying to him.
Any suggestions would be welcome...

I don't think it's legal for teachers to charge for extra tuition for students at their own school....

Some teachers do do extra tuition at some schools on a paid for basis. I would phone the school to check if it is allowed under their policies. But surely your husband get copies of his D's school reports etc? If not he should request this, it is quite normal.
