Yes we were taken in by the hard sell too!It was like being assaulted by a double glazing salesman on speed!!! Our programme is now gathering dust on top of our wardrobe!!! I am so angry as i feel we have let our children down ,which is exactly how the salesman?or should i say highwayman makes you feel right in front of your children iff you say no!!! They do not want to help at all, but we dont care iff it takes years we are going to send this rubbish back and get a refund iff it kills us!!! My advice is iff you want to spend thousands of pounds on your children then take them to DISNEYWORLD and see them smile!!! Then you will have had value for money, not upset children!! KEEP YOUR FRONT DOOR SHUT!!! and your hard earned money SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I need a drink now im so angry

I think this is the same system ,or similar to ,one that I was nearly tempted into to .
The primary schools round here send out flyers on their behalf ( outrageous ) .

I remember my son trying to hide his tears when he couldn't do the test they gave him as part of the sales package to make you sign up .

Don't feel bad - at least you've realised it's a mistake and you're not ploughing on with it .

Good luck and well done for warning others .

how much was it?

ladyrosie · 20/02/2011 16:14

As much as it pains me to say this it has cost about £4000 over 4 years there seems to be little chance of a refund but i will not stop trying !!!!! Do not be taken in by these people. It was like being brainwashed they are so clever at what they do its all very well designed to pull on your wishes to help your children!!! you think because it comes from the school it must be ok!! but it is nothing to do with the school and there just by accident is no mention of any money or long term contract untill right at the end of the presentation AGAIN IN FRONT OF YOUR CHILDREN FOR THAT LITTLE BIT OF EXTRA PRESSURE.In the meeting There is a test for your child which they will NEVER pass, and then the programme is based upon this.VERY VERY CLEVER!!! The dvds are lacking in motivation and are like wathching paint dry.

Hi gingeroots thanks for your reply. Yes it was sent out by the school so we thought it was all ok and to do with the school as our little boy is having help in school anyway. How wrong we were. Our little boy was struggling so much in school we thought this would help.We had no warning at all about the costs involved until right at the end of his salespitch. All of this in front of the children who by this point were exited about the programme. So we felt that if we said no we would be letting our children down and robbing them of this chance to help them. Its all very clever and based on a test given to your child by the representative which you have no real idea iff they have done well in or not The cancellation period is so short you only have time to do two lessons at the rate of one per week as advised ,so by the time you realise your child does not want to do the work because they find it so dull it upsets them to carry on, its too late to send back!!!!Very convenient.
