I wonder whether any of you might have some words of wisdom?
Dd 12 (yr7) has been invited to apply to attend a gifted and talented residential camp this summer and as such, needs to submit a written application.
It is to develop their understanding of design, engineering and innovation and is linked to the 2012 London Olympics.
Obviously, I don't intend to write this thing for her although parents/teachers are invited to assist with the application.
She has to say why she wants to attend, what she hopes to gain and what she feels she can offer the group.
I realise none of you know my dd personally (she is a talented artist but most definitely not sporty!)but any ideas with regard to length and general content required?
