GCSE Options

Today dd handed in her form for GCSEs - we spent a lot of time discussing it and we are both happy with the choices:
English x2
Maths
Physics
Chemistry
Biology
RS
ICT
Geography
Spanish
Product Design

Anyone else had that feeling of 'oh god was that right - does that keep all doors open, will that get the options they want at Uni, are they ones that they'll get the best marks in.'?

So long as its a good mix its fine (your DD's looks perfect for that!).

Both DD1 and DD2 both ended up with a subject that they liked a lot less by the end of GCSEs than at the beginning so I'm wondering which one it will be for DS.

Ah depending on who we get for Geography I think will make a huge difference in enjoyment level for dd.

And she already dislikes English - her words 'no way am I going to fail it, because there is no way I'm spending any more time on it for a resit!'

It was Art for DD1 - I still shudder at the thought of the final exam preparation in the Easter holidays with Art work everywhere and DD1 hysterical in the middle of it! It was 4 years ago now so the memory is fading.
