How many parents would agree that if you get the chance go and do the leg work and have a look around any school that you might want your child to go to. Yes have a look at the hype and stuff but go and have a look around the school whilst it is working if possible, look at it warts and all (and they all have warts somewhere!)It's a good indicator of how they really are. If they don't want to let you in the door then I for one would begin asking questions why. Happy looking people. And by the way I think mumsnet is BRILLIANT!!
