Would it be possible to transfer from American system to British system

in Year 10? (I think it would be Year 10 - the year that was 4th year secondary in old money.)

Potentially tricky as so many schools start GCSE courses in Y9 for a proportion of their pupils.

An international school may be a good option as they would be used to pupils having this sort of transition. Some schools have international qualifications which would be acceptable in both countries.

Year 10 would be a standard point to transfer in at my daughter's school as that is when they start their GCSE options.

Do that many start GCSEs early?
