I know I'm posting in the wrong place, but hey, I'm a coward 
I've just banned my 12yr old DS from the computer (plays games on it) and XBox indefinitely until his school work improves 
I feel a tight ass. One one hand I want to empower him to take responsibility for his work , on your own head be it kinda thing, but on the other hand I'm fed up with talking and discussing why he should do more cos it goes in one ear and out the other, without hanging around in the middle.
Will it make a difference????? Do you think I'll face a few weeks of rebellion until he realizes I'm sticking to my guns?
Bum. It's not easy when they hate school is it. And its not as if its not in him, he's very bright.
Drat.
