And what its meant to be like?
LIZS · 15/01/2011 16:53
One of the better in the area but not as easy to get into as it once was (preference to those attending specific primary shcools for example)
IShallWearMidnight · 15/01/2011 16:58
we've been really pleased with it - any specific questions?
allgonebellyup · 15/01/2011 21:11
Applying for a teaching job there!!

ooooh! Which department? IME the staff go the extra mile, it's very much a "putting lots in" school. I have some friends on the staff (as well as two DC there) so PM me if you like.

My son left last summer. He went to a private school until the age of 11 but was suffering under the pressure. He was a changed boy within weeks of attending Oxted. I'm very happy to say that he achieved fantastic exam results, and has a sound set of values. He made some great friends too. All in all, Oxted is a great school. V pleased with it.

We have friends with children there whom are very happy with it. I was impressed when we looked around it 3 years ago for dd1 but she preferred Sackville in East Grinstead
