Computer issues in assessment

My child is a little upset over controlled assessment,has sat 3 hours of it and had her computer crash in all sessions,lost all work.This has happened to many others too. School says computer network cannot deal with the around 40 students using spell check then saving. Anyone else had issues like this?

It all worked fine at our school this time but it is my understanding that spell check should be disabled for CAs anyway.

She should be saving her work all the way through and not waiting until the end of the time.

I work for an IT company in Bristol and we work with most of the schools in the area helping them avoid this sort of problem.

Would be happy to contact the IT manager to talk about the ways around it.
