I'll have a look!

How are things at the old place?

Milliways · 12/11/2010 20:55

They are becoming an Academy & asking for £1 a day for every day your child attends to pay for building work as funding has been cut so much (because they are doing so well. Funds going to more needy schools).

Next Friday is entrance exam day so most of the school are going to see the new Hogwarts film that is released that day Grin

Interesting! what are they planning to build?
Your DS is Year 11 now isn't he?

Milliways · 12/11/2010 21:21

Yes, GCSE's here we come :)

They are building a "refectory"! (Not just a dining room), and they also want a hall large enough for the whole school to meet in.

Well, Big School isn't really very big, is it?

Milliways · 12/11/2010 21:36

No, that name has always made me laugh.

Actually, I do think £30pm for those who can afford it is a bargain for the education you get.
