Secondary school A5 planners

Hi, can anyone tell me if parents should sign off the planner at the end of the week that they have just done or sign it off at the beginning of the week that they are about to do? Thanks.

The week that has passed.

The week they've just done...to confirm you've seen them do their H/W etc.

It will last about half a term then the teachers get fed up with it and your child has learnt to forge your signature by then anyway

Do a job lot of 6 weeks at a time here usually.

I normally forget so the teacher rings in red pen the last 6 weeks where I should have signed so I do a job lot. The week I do remember to sign and feel really proud of the fact that I remembered is the week that the teacher doesn't sign!
Oh how I've been tempted to ring in red pen where they should have signed.

I always used to sign the wek they had just done.

Scurry-- last time I actually remembered it, DS was cross because my signature 'looked like he'd forged it'!

His version is much more accomplished looking than mine.

Wer have to sign it by the tuesday after the end of the week or DC can get a det.

Sign off the week that is passed.
